About Me

Shafayetul Islam is a passionate robotics engineer and instructor with a proven track record of success in both academics and industry. Recently, Shafayet instructed robotics at Apars, where he has instilled his knowledge in over 300 students. He also brings extensive practical experience from his role as a Robotics Engineer at a leading automation company. Shafayet’s academic background is equally impressive, having completed a BSc in CSE from the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) and served as a Robotics Research Assistant in the Department of Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Dhaka. Shafayet’s dedication to the field is further evidenced by his competitive achievements. He was crowned Champion at both URC 2021 in Southern Utah, USA and the Medical Robotics for Contagious Diseases Challenge 2020 held by the Imperial College of London and UK Robotics and Autonomous Systems Network. Most recently, he secured the 2nd Runner-up position at ARC 2022 organized by the Exploration Society (UKET) in Istanbul, Turkey.
